YOGA

Yoga is introduced right from kindergarten, promoting physical, mental, and emotional well-being from a young age. By practicing yoga, children develop strength, flexibility, and balance, while enhancing their focus and concentration. Beyond these physical benefits, yoga teaches mindfulness, emotional regulation, and self-discipline, supporting a child’s overall growth and well-being

SILAMBAM

Silambam, an ancient martial art form, is taught to students as part of our focus on physical fitness and cultural heritage. This traditional practice not only improves agility, coordination, and endurance but also instills discipline, focus, and self-confidence. By learning Silambam, students develop resilience and mental strength, while gaining a deeper appreciation for India’s rich cultural traditions. It serves as a unique way to enhance both physical skills and personal development.

KARATE

Karate is an essential part of our physical education program, designed to empower students both physically and mentally. Through structured training, students learn self-defense techniques, which not only enhance their physical fitness but also build confidence and self-discipline. Karate fosters respect, focus, and perseverance, teaching children the importance of hard work and dedication. As they progress through the ranks, students gain a sense of accomplishment and camaraderie, preparing them for challenges both on and off the mat.

BAND

Our School Band is a vibrant expression of creativity and teamwork, providing students with the opportunity to develop their musical talents and perform in various school events. Participation in the band enhances not only musical skills but also collaboration and communication among peers. Students learn discipline through regular practice, while also experiencing the joy of performing in front of an audience. Being part of the band fosters a sense of belonging and pride, encouraging students to appreciate the arts and cultivate a lifelong love for music.

BOXING

At SCV Central School, boxing is embraced as a powerful discipline that fosters strength, confidence, and mental resilience. Our boxing program trains students to develop physical fitness and sharp reflexes while instilling values like focus, perseverance, and self-control. Guided by experienced coaches, our young boxers learn essential techniques and safety measures, preparing them for competitive events and personal challenges alike. Through boxing, students build a strong foundation of self-discipline and courage, qualities that serve them well both inside and outside the ring.
